BPA Firers Training Scheme<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In 2003, the British Pyrotechnists Association (BPA)<\/strong> introduced the Firers Training Scheme<\/strong> for its members and other professional display companies. The scheme was created to help establish a common standard of safety and knowledge throughout the professional firework display industry.<\/p>\n

Course Structure<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Candidates undertake a comprehensive course of training based on a detailed syllabus, followed by an examination.
Successful candidates are issued with a BPA Firer\u2019s Identification Card, confirming that they have completed the training and passed the exam.<\/p>\n

The Association also maintains a Register of Firers<\/strong><\/a> on its website, which can be checked by anyone wishing to verify the authenticity of a BPA Firer\u2019s identification.<\/p>\n

Commitment to Safety<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The BPA is dedicated to improving safety at professionally fired firework displays \u2014 protecting both operators and the public.
The Firers Training Scheme currently includes over 1,700 registered individuals and is continuously developed to reflect new legislation, technologies, and best practices.<\/p>\n
