FEAT Lecturer Training

BPA Course Administration and Instructor Training

FEAT (Firework Exam Administration Training) equips BPA members with the knowledge and skills required to administer BPA Firers and Senior Firers Courses effectively and in accordance with BPA requirements.

The training covers:

  • Course scheduling and candidate registration
  • Management of training materials and documentation
  • Record-keeping and assessment procedures
  • Liaison with the BPA
  • Compliance with BPA guidelines
  • Maintaining consistent standards throughout the course and examination process

BPA members who wish to deliver Firers and Senior Firers Courses must also complete the relevant instructor training. Lecturers are trained to a high standard to ensure that courses are delivered accurately, consistently and in accordance with BPA and City & Guilds requirements.

The BPA Firers and Senior Firers Courses, together with the associated administration and instructor training, are accredited by City & Guilds. This provides independent recognition of the quality and consistency of the training, assessment and administration processes.

Only appropriately trained BPA member companies may administer and deliver BPA Firers and Senior Firers Courses. A full list of BPA member companies authorised to offer this training is provided below.
